Jan 7, 2010 · My brother owned the Blue Bandit Gto for a short time in the early 70's. He sold it to a Pontiac collector who at the time was around Olney Illinois. He found the car again a year or two ago. It is in a building in Texas , but the guy wouldn't price it. He said Don Gay had tried to buy it back before he died.

Aug 12, 2008 · That is the Blue Thunder 4v dp intake...they are a dealer. Not a bad intake, but the Stealth is easier to obtain. I would not expect to see an incredible difference between the Stealth & the dual 4 bbl., unless the carburetors on the 2x4 are not tuned effectively.

May 4, 2011 · no . i bought the car in Az, when i got it home i found the blue tag on the door jam. but like i said i can't read it, well i can read some but not all i wish there was a way to use some chemical to bring the #'s out, if you have any idea what i can do please let me know.

Apr 12, 2011 · The pic of Mauri Rose at the wheel, is the Blue Crown Special built by Lou Moore, with Emil Deidt having beat out the body panels. That car was a front wheel drive, powered by an Offy four-banger. There were a couple of these "Blue Crowns". They were quite successful, finishing 1st and 2nd in '47; and 1st in '49.

From all I have read and heard from "old-timers" they were never the norm in car circles, never universally popular throughout the country, and ceased being available sometime around 1957-58.

Nov 8, 2020 · Honestly, I would let this become someone else's headache. Yes, the laws were changed not all that long ago. Vehicles with missing numbers, or VIN (serial) tags will have to go to CHP for inspection, where they would look for an alternate

Mar 14, 2008 · I actually talked with the guys brother today that owns the Blue Bandit GTO funny car, it is in a garage in Texas, the guy won't allow anyone to see it, but his brother said the guy is getting ready to retire and is going to restore it and nostagia race it . he said it is exactly the way it was when his brother bought it from mine but it was weathered.

However, thinking about when flying a carbureted aircraft, which have manual mixture controls, equipped with an Exhaust Gas Temperature (EGT) guage, very rich runs cool(er) then as you lean to nearer ideal mixture the EGT shows higher EG temps and as you pass peak EGT you enter 'running lean of peak' …

Oct 31, 2007 · Once I put the body on, he wanted to see it again. Then, he made up a blue tag that matches the VIN on my frame and put the blue tag in the door jam. They just want to have a VIN that can be easily found. It has nothing to do with smog and is often confused with a Special Construction Vehicle. In my opinion a blue tag is no big deal.
