I know one set of painted new mahogany garage doors and worked behind a repair guy who was replacing exterior cedar trim boards and preprimed them with BIN. Surprisingly, the cedar primed with BIN is giving us some bleeding hassles through solid acrylic stain.

I didnt realize it was for spot priming and that you couldnt use it for large surface areas. I'm in a climate in Canada with warm summers and cold winters. 2019年1月23日 · Well, BIN is a great undercoat for SI. We always used BIN or BM Alkyd Enamel Underbody under Satin Impervo. Both work well, but I always prefered BIN. Nothing sands down like BIN. Put hundreds if not thousands of gallons of that on in my day. SI isn't the paint it once was, but still a darned good enamel.

2021年1月6日 · The problem with shooting BIN out of your airless is: Especially If it's your only sprayer that you normally spray latex from, is that the alcohol in the BIN releases all the old latex in your machine making a gunky mess. I only shoot BIN from my hvlp. Minimal cleanup. Unless you have a clean airless Rig dedicated to BIN and oil.
