Founded in 1981, the Brain Injury Alliance of New Jersey is a non-profit organization that serves people with brain injury, their families and friends, and concerned allied health professionals. BIANJ's mission is to support and advocate for individuals affected by brain injury and raise public awareness through education and prevention.

The goal of the brain injury information website is to educate, assist and enable persons with brain injuries, their families, caregivers and professionals to learn and understand about the problems, find the resources and seek whatever information, aid and solutions are necessary to help them with the process of traumatic brain injury.

BIANJ's mission is to support and advocate for individuals affected by brain injury and raise public awareness through education and prevention. BIANJ provides publications, programs and services, and identifies community resources. BIANJ is led by a Board of Trustees includes members of the brain injury community and civic leaders.
