9mm carbine zero distance. - The Firing Line Forums
2017年3月31日 · I don't have a 9mm Carbine but a couple of my friends do. They shoot them in our 3 gun matches and have them zeroed at 50 yards they do pretty good across the 3 gun course we use. My 92fs is sighted in that range and it works for me. I also have my 224 M4 sighted in at 50 yards. But it could depend on what you intend on doing with the carbine.
Powder for 9mm carbine loads - The Firing Line Forums
2017年4月10日 · Jet, I have loaded for a succession Marlin 9MM carbines since they were first introduced, and have chronographed the results. I have used medium to slower powders,e.g., Unique, Herco, HS-6, Blue Dot, Accurate arms #7 and #9, etc. I tend to load 9MM for pistol and carbine to what would be considered +P levels.
Accuracy of 9mm Ammo in Ruger PC Carbine - The Firing Line
2018年7月18日 · They can be hit very easily and I was surprised how accurate the rifle is. I've never put it on paper but my guess is 3 to 4 inches at 100 yards, and I think that's pretty dam good for a 9mm carbine. I use 124g blazer and 124g federal AE ammo, the rifle likes 124g the best. Shooting steel targets at 100 yards is lots of fun with this rifle.
Sight for HiPoint 9MM Carbine? - The Firing Line Forums
2021年3月25日 · For a scope, you probably wouldn't go with real high magnification for a 9mm carbine, but something like a Leupold 1.5-4x20 is nice if you want some magnification. Unfortunately, the prices are MUCH higher than they were a year ago... Makes me wonder if those are in short supply (just like guns and ammo) and some price gouging is going on.
What's your favorite 9mm backpack carbine? - The Firing Line …
2025年1月4日 · The PC Carbine isn't bad, it's really mostly a 10/22 scaled up and beefed up into a blowback 9mm rifle. It had the best trigger and a reasonably smooth firing impulse. The only real downside is the barrel mounted rear aperture sight, and possible POI shifting if you mount an optic on the receiver and then mount and dismount the barrel regularly.
Would you use a 9mm to hunt hogs? - The Firing Line Forums
2009年6月2日 · Sorry gadgetguy, but the 9mm just doesn't have the ballistics enough to be the primary hunting gun, (even out of your High Point). It really is not fair to the animals you hunt. Sure it could kill a deer, etc. but it would have the be the most perfect of shots (or the deer could end up in bad shape for sometime before it expired, if at all).
Henry Homesteader . . . - The Firing Line Forums
2024年11月23日 · Back in the 80’s I had a 9mm Marlin Camp Gun. I think it came from Best Products being priced very reasonably. It was an absolute hoot to plink with and you could go through lots of ammo really quickly. A 9mm carbine can also serve very well as short range varmint gun or a respectable self defense weapon.
9mm Carbine Choices - Which one to buy - The Firing Line Forums
2011年6月11日 · The BEST choice IMHO is a Ruger PC-9 if you can find one for a good price. Reliable 20 round Mec-Gar magazines are available and those magazines will interchange with any P85-P95 9mm pistol.
Recommended gun for firing 9mm +p+ ammo? - The Firing Line
2012年1月10日 · When I was researching +P 9mm ammo I came to the conclusion that the Win 124+P was a really good round. When you look at the actual velocity difference between that round, a regular 124 grain and the Nato rounds, it isn't a big difference. My Beretta was made for the NATO load. The 9mm NATO is not really any harder on the gun then the 124+P.
AR-15 vs 9mm Carbine - The Firing Line Forums
2013年1月17日 · I have the best of both worlds. I have an AR15 in 9mm, given the right magazines it hasn't flinched on me yet. great fun for plinking and varminting but not much else unless you have a good spot for deer that you can nice and close to. the 223 is a much more versatile round and I have an AR15 in that too, better suited to hunting deer and coyotes over range and just about everyone has parts ...
