2025年3月30日 · My bass club use to always do a early season Tourney in Wisc. because they always opened way earlier there than here.( usually Bone, Balsam, or Wapogasset ) I drew a guy who almost always won those early tourneys there. His tactic was to fish mainlake points just outside of known spawning bays or fish the first breakline just outside those bays.

So catch numbers will be Way higher when angling for spawning fish vs other times of the year, and catch and release has a mortality factor.

2006年1月23日 · Take a bike ride and try to ask for permission to fish some of the ponds that are north of rte 10. You will probably get lucky on one or more. Most probably have nice bass and bluegill. Not much public in the elyria area. You will have to go to the Oberlin ponds, reservoir, or wellington for nice gills.

2013年5月12日 · They are not the same shape. Drum have a big hump back while bass are streamlined. Drum have a purple hue, I call them purple bass. White bass are plain silver with stripes. Drum have a mouth on the bottom, bass have a mouth on the front.
