2022年8月26日 · Hello, I have little experience with the BAR, unfortunately what I have so far isn't good. I am looking for some tips on making a BAR more accurate. I am not sure if there are any tricks or tips to look for on this model but I am hoping. I have a BAR Mk3 wood stock in 30-06.

A quick review of my new BAR Mk3 in 308win. Scope arrived on Friday. Got her setup and out we went Sunday. I only put in 16rds and she ran as expected, flawless. Got her sighted in at 200yrds so decided to back down to 100yrds and shoot a few 3 shot groups. Not enough shooting to show much of an average but does show potential.

2024年2月8日 · The Browning website listed the BAR Mk3 LOP as 14 3/8 inches. So not far off. I get to the shop and look at the gun. Shoulder it. It feels short. I look at the tag: LOP 13 3/8 inches. I ask the guy behind the counter to measure, and he does--three times. Confirmed: 13 3/8 inches.

2017年2月23日 · I am interested in buying a BAR Mark 3 in the 7mm-08 caliber. This gun will fit my needs for Hog/Deer hunting in the south without the recoil of a 30-06. Since I will use it for Hog hunting, I am looking for a semi-automatic. The thing is, I cannot find a single review of the BAR Mark 3, much less find one on a specific cartridge.

2017年8月1日 · Hi. Having a hard time finding any Mk3 DBM owners to help answer some of my questions. I just bought my BAR Mk3 DBM. When I got it home and examined it more closely, there appears to be a gap of approximately 3-4mm between the underside of the forend and the action. I can see in to the gap and the barrel, etc. inside the forend.

2020年7月1日 · I have 3 generations of BAR rifles. Top is Mk3 308win. Mid is Mk1 type II 308win. Bottom is Mk2 Stalker 7mm rem mag. I prefer the Mk3 for weight and shootability. It is the most "consistent" of the three. I only wish it had irons. Bone stock, the Mk1 is 7.6lbs(8.2lbs with scope as pictured) and the Mk3 is 7lbs even. The 7mm is a heavy 8.2lbs.

2012年10月27日 · The BAR is about as light and accurate as a bolt-action and ultra reliable/low maintenance (as it's piston-driven). It obviously isn't going to be ideal as a battle weapon, but it would be nice to know you could pop a 10 or 20-round mag in it if it were the only thing you had.
