2025年1月21日 · New Falkland Islands Polymer Banknote Family Announced For 2025 In early January 2025, The Falkland Islands Government announced that they were working with De La Rue on designing a new set of Falkland Islands Polymer banknotes to replace their current series.

Its obverse side shows a purple SPARK feature, a woman carrying a jug on her shoulder, and a modern tractor plowing a field. Its reverse side depicts the Lion of Babylon, a snake carving, horses, and how King Hammurabi received the laws from Shamash the Sun God.
