Aug 1st @ 12:53, CN L507 by. Springhill Junction with 458 axles, CN 4641 & CN 2273. 4641 is a BCOL Dash 9 that has been repainted in the current CN livery. She sports the early 4 pane windshield as well as the BCOL specified extra set of ditch lights.

Just remember the amount of time, effort (and/or money) just 5-10 years ago it would have taken to be able to hold in one's own hands a relatively super detailed, HO scale replica, (BCOL specific) M420B. These things are neat. And a sorely longed after aspect of 1970-1980s era BC Rail modeler's repertoire.

August 4, 2006 BCOL 3902 on the former BC Rail, running long hood forward, northbound on the Exeter switcher. I can't recall the circumstances of that day, we were in the siding at Onward, either waiting on a meet or picking up / setting off cars. Guess I had some spare time for photos before resuming our journey to Williams Lake BC.
