2019年8月12日 · The main concern with the Avion 44 was that its aging masks too much of the agave flavor; do you think that still shines through in the Suerte XA? It looks like it changes from year to year, since as the years go by the bottles from the initial batch get older.

2020年11月7日 · Earlier this year I read an article highlighting Avion 44 as tequila of the year. I can't seem to find the article anymore but since I read it I have had a hankering for it. Any opinions out there on this? For reference I'm a fan of Espolon, Herradura Centernnario and of course Class Azul and 1942.

2022年4月12日 · I’m still very new to tequila and still trying to learn. I purchased a bottle of Avion 44 because it was recommended by a friend. It is delicious, but I’m having trouble verifying whether or not it contains additives. I cannot find an article that states definitively that it does not. Any help would be appreciated.

2021年10月3日 · Don’t mean to confuse, I’m only into silver tequila but añejo is only served for top shelf liquor where I’m at, it’s cincoro, Avión 44, or DJ-1942. I’m trying to ask what would be a good alternative to either a middle-top shelf without spending part of my paycheck.

2021年6月26日 · Also, Avion 44 is designed to be a very dessert kind of drink. I'm not even sure it would work with sangrita because its forward flavors are more like bourbon--vanilla, caramel, etc. I'd drink Avion 44 like a cognac. In a snifter, at room temperature, by itself, preferably after a meal.

2023年3月10日 · Avion has a 63 on TMM's panel scores. That's terrible. Centenario is Cuervo in a fancy package (literally, same distillery, mostly the same production methods).

2021年5月28日 · I like the Avion 44. It's a decent price point for a nicely (but not overly) barrel-influenced expression. I suspect it has some additives (sweetener and vanilla) but it's not heavy handed and is nicely balanced with a bit of peppery and some alcohol bite.

2020年12月30日 · The one time me and the fiance had avion, it was at a bar. Tasted really watered down to us, I have no idea if that's the actual tequila, or the bar doing the watering down, either way it wasn't the best taste so I think I could understand your sentiment. I want to give it another go for the sake of making sure it wasn't the bar but idk. Seems sus.
