2019年1月8日 · For the Army, I believe the Weapons of Mass Destruction Civil Support Team (WMD-CST) program in the Guard is the best place for a 74 series. A 74 series works full time in their field which for enlisted includes to about 750 hours worth of training in the first three years at schools all across the nation which, for the most part, are taught by ...

2022年3月28日 · 74D at a chem unit will do essential tasks such as area beautification, 350-1, go to the field for something no one knows and an annual CERTEX. This was an active duty tech escort company. Can't really say what reserves will do.
74D’s, what’s the job like? : r/army - Reddit
2023年7月17日 · 74D on the active side isn't as fruitful as on the Reserve or especially the Guard side cause they have CST's. You can be in a CBRN unit your entire reserve career and it's easy to hop on ADOS orders or utilize Tour of Duty to get some MOS specific opportunities.
74D army question : r/Militaryfaq - Reddit
2020年5月22日 · 74D is a relatively flexible MOS. Every unit in the army is supposed to have one. If you aren't in a chemical unit, ranking up is incredibly fast because you're supposed to be an NCO in those positions. You could end up on any army base, you could even end up working with DOD or on an air force base. Just remember that this job is what you make ...
74D, 14P, 13B: Which is best? : r/army - Reddit
74D is a rough one because, nobody really cares about CBRN and as a result those Soldiers tend to get placed on shitty details more frequently than their peers. Only you can make the choice but if you’re solely driven by the enticement of a quick ship bonus, I’m concerned there will be much regret in your immediate future.

2022年4月27日 · Been recently at MEPS. 74D comes with option 19 and there was quite a few slots available at that time. I remember about 5 duty stations available for that MOS, including Riley Also, there’s been a few other MOS with option 19 with Fort Riley available.
74D (CBRN) Questions : r/army - Reddit
2023年4月3日 · Welcome to one of the most disregarded jobs in the army. If you are in a chem unit most of the time you'll either be trying to half ass fix equipment or walking around in suit for some kind of training with no real end goal other than "find the spicy juice". Non chem unit you'll issue masks and probably get tossed into the ops office as a clerk.
What do 74Ds do? : r/army - Reddit
2022年6月18日 · It depends on if you are in a regular unit or a chemical unit. I started army life as a 74D. Training includes how to recon, detect, and mark known chemical hazards. Decon of contaminated units, and some other neat stuff. Including getting exposed to live nerve agent (like the CS chamber in Basic but with something that can kill you).
Wtf am I gonna do as a 74D : r/army - Reddit
2020年10月18日 · Honestly one of the great things about 74D is you can go anywhere. Literally every type of unit in the Army has a requirement for CBRN, if not at the company level that definitely at battalion. Even at bragg, you could end up with infantry, artillery, MP, signal, medical, intel, support, engineers.. every unit will have a slightly different ...

2012年11月4日 · 74D has nothing to do with sciences. I've been one for 3 years, and it's pretty stupid. The recruitment video probably showed you a lab, and some biohazard stuff, etc, etc. In reality, you'll likely be put on a decontamination team. Meaning you will wash dead bodies and humvees that are exposed to any kind of contamination.
