2013年3月6日 · Done with Arani fort, we decided to continue with our journey. We travel back to NH4, pass through Harihar and reach Dodda Bathi. It was time for breakfast, we drove up the hillock, right till Revana Siddeshwara temple.

Arani Fort bus station, is the city of Arni's main bus station. Arni is the second largest town in Tiruvannamalai district after Tiruvannamalai city. It is in the central part of Arni town and is near the Arni Fort, hence its name.

There is a fort area in the heart of the town. It houses the forest department, sub jail, registration office, police station, women's police station, and agricultural office. A monument situated in the parade ground of the fort commemorates Col. Robert Kelly, who was surveying the Aarani area.

Arni is a rice growing area and the dominant caste is the Gounders who also own rice mills. The town is small and the roads congested with two wheelers and four wheelers.
