Aniruddha (Sanskrit: अनिरुद्ध, lit. 'unconquerable') [2] is a character in Hindu mythology, the son of Pradyumna and Rukmavati, and the grandson of Krishna and Rukmini. [3] . He is said to have been very much like his grandfather, to the extent that he is considered by some to be a Jana avatar, an avatar of Vishnu.

Anuruddha (Sanskrit: अनुरुद्ध; Pali: Anuruddha) was one of the ten principal disciples and a cousin of Gautama Buddha. Anuruddha was the son of Amitodana and brother to Mahanama and princess Rohini (Buddha's disciple).

Aniruddha was the son of Pradyumna, himself the child of the Hindu gods Krishna and Rukmini. In Hindu mythology, he is usually seen as an avatar or form of Vishnu. The story of Aniruddha is that he married Asura Baza’s daughter Usha under strange circumstances.

Aniruddha was the son of Pradyumna and grandson of Kṛṣṇa. Uṣā, the daughter of Bāṇā sura, fell in love with him and got him magically transported to her palace. Though Bāṇā sura discovered it and tried his best to destroy him, he did not succeed. Ultimately Aniruddha and Uṣā were married.
