Analcime (/ əˈnælsiːm, - saɪm /; from Ancient Greek ἀνάλκιμος (análkimos) 'not strong') or analcite is a white, gray, or colorless tectosilicate mineral. Analcime consists of hydrated sodium aluminium silicate in cubic crystalline form. Its chemical formula is NaAlSi 2 O 6 · H 2 O. Minor amounts of potassium and calcium substitute for sodium.

Analcime is a member of the zeolite group, and often occurs together with other zeolites. However, it is closely related in structure to the feldspathoid group, and is occasionally also classified as a feldspathoid together with the similar mineral Leucite.

According to the International Zeolite Association (http://www.iza-online.org/natural/Datasheets/Analcime/Analcime.html) the mineral has variable composition, which can be given as Na 16-x (H 2 O) 16+x [Al 16-x Si 32+x O 96], with x varying from -3.4 to +4.3. The Na content generally is ~16 atoms per formula unit, but may range from 12 to 17.
