The Duel on Mustafar, also known as the Battle on Mustafar, was a lightsaber duel where Anakin Skywalker, now the recently apprenticed Sith Lord, Darth Vader, fought his former Jedi Master and best friend, Obi-Wan Kenobi, on the planet Mustafar in the Outer Rim.

Mustafar served as the final redoubt of the Separatist Council until the newly-appointed Darth Vader, formerly Anakin Skywalker, was sent by Sidious to slaughter the council, effectively ending the Clone Wars.

When Anakin cries on Mustafar, it’s acknowledgment of how far he’s fallen. But he still has a goal to strive towards: if he can save Padme, then he thinks he can live with himself and everything he’s done, because he’ll have succeeded in his goal.
