Reactive Aluminas - Almatis
Reactive aluminas are engineered materials primarily used in high-performance refractory production. They play a crucial role in achieving precise particle packing, consistent rheology, and reliable placement, all of which contribute to the superior physical properties of …
Brochures - Almatis
Here you can browse through our extensive range of alumina and alumina-based products, carefully formulated to meet the exacting requirements of a wide variety of industries. Our brochures are a complete technical resource, providing detailed specifications and performance data that highlight the versatility and superior qualities of our products.
Alumina is the most widely used technical ceramic and is the material of choice in about 80% of engineering applications due to its combination of properties. Fired at over 1600°C (2900°F) to give a fully dense technical ceramic, alumina exhibits high mechanical strength, rigidity and can be machined to tight tolerances and fine surface finishes.
Alumina | CoorsTek Technical Ceramics
Higher purity alumina demonstrates enhanced wear and corrosion resistance — creating a continuous scale of various alumina grades, compositions, and performance. Aluminas are used in both general use and specialized applications.
HS-400 | KMnO4 Acitvated Alumnia - Hydrosil International
Hydrosil’s HS-400 is a spherical activated alumina that is impregnated with no less than 4.0% weight potassium permanganate (KMnO4). The media shall have 2.0 pounds of potassium permanganate per cubic foot. The HS-400 is found in exhaust systems, air dryers, and general HVAC applications. What’s the Difference Between HS-600 and HS-400?
Selected Tabular Aluminas - Almatis
Almatis' specialized tabular alumina fractions are designed to meet the requirements of various industrial applications such as investment casting, functional fillers, ceramic rollers, metal filtration, and regeneration burner markets.

Alumina Powder series 400 - Final Advanced Materials
Series 400 is an alumina powder with average purity and very high specific surface area. Those powders become part of some inks and paints to obtain hard coatings.
Alumina ceramics, available in purity levels from 85 to 99.8%, are used in electronic, wear, mechanical, and thermal applications. Precise material batch control (from milling through spray drying) and powder sizing assures reproducibility from order to order and through the life of long production runs.
Xiamen Wintrustek Advanced Materials Co., Ltd. 99% Al2O3
Alumina ceramics have the highest density but low hardness, it's the cheapest ceramic material for armor protection. Silicon Carbide ceramics have low density and high hardness, so they are the most widely used bulletproof ceramics around the world.
