2022年1月31日 · Hey Guys, There is a great post by perrymk on how to lengthen an ALICE pack frame. Before I do this, I would like to know if anyone has found a frame being produced by anyone that can fit the medium AL:ICE pack and is about 3-4" longer. I am 6' tall and I would like to use the pack with the...

2013年1月12日 · 1. I prefer the support of an external frame. 2. I like the ventilation of an alice pack frame. Nothing against my back, not even mesh, except for weight bearing points of course. 3. The relatively narrow width and low profile (below neck) allow for freedom of movement. The standard alice pack frame is about 20 inches long and 1lb14oz to 2lbs.
Alice Pack/Molle Frame??? - Bushcraft USA Forums
2011年10月19日 · I think you'd need to cut/modify the Molle frame quite a lot to be able to fix an Alice on to it. The standard Molle 1603 made by Down East is too wide at the top to fix the pack correctly. Cutting might weaken it too much though. The large ALICE pack go withOUT a frame , with or without modification to it to the pack or frame.
ALICE Pack + MOLLE II Frame | Bushcraft USA Forums
2019年12月16日 · The standard Alice frame is freaking awesome but I can’t stand how it feels like the pack is constantly peeling away from your back. The DE frames ride super close and are just awesome, I have wore a Molle II pack and it’s decently comfy but I can’t stand how all the Molle creaks and crackles on the plastic.

DIY PVC ALICE pack frame for $3 - Bushcraft USA Forums
2011年11月30日 · Much more elaborate than mine. I needed one to keep my medium Alice standing upright and not collapse when hunting - the objective was keeping the pack open and stuff available one-handed without looking. (Minnesota, down to 10 deg F in November.) The shelf on the bottom is supported by the pack top straps so there is minimal stress on the joints.
New frame for alice pack - Bushcraft USA Forums
2015年2月17日 · I measured the frame pocket on my pack and it was 11.5 inches. The DEI 1606AC also measures 11.5 inches. So what I did was to mount the pack on the frame as much as possible (lacks only .25 - .50 inches) and strapped the bottom of the pack to the bottom of the frame. The pack cannot come off the frame and it may, or may not, settle with a load.

2012年5月31日 · Right now, the pack is setup for a Day trip. But when I do finally take it on a 2 to 3 day trip, my compression sack with sleeping bag and air mattress will be attached to the frame under the Alice pack. My Ridge Rest foam pad goes above the pack with room to spare. It's neat having all this extra frame to lash extra stuff too.
