While walking around I could hear Alba's footsteps on the sand but no matter which buttons I pressed or how long I waited, the camera was still locked on the screen with the seagulls and would not pan over to the beach like it had when I started my initial save file a few hours ago. I uninstalled and reinstalled the game. No luck.

I found out that this bug has been existing for 5 years and it is still not fixed, plus there are still other bugs. For me, it felt like the devs do not care at all with this cute game because they are not doing anything about the bugs and glitches.

2021年1月21日 · Found a solution. It is likely that the problem lies in a savegame on your system that is not correctly registered. If you go to C:\Users\USERNAME\AppData\LocalLow\ustwo games\Alba and remove the files inside the savegame folder, The new game starts correctly. Unfortunately, this does not help me.
