2025年2月4日 · And the new 21-18 spoked wheelset on the R model means proper knobbly tires are much easier to source for the machine; Mitas Enduro Trail E07+ rubber comes standard. It should handle the dirt much better than previous models with the 19-17 wheels. Indeed, KTM says the Adventure R is their most off-road focused adventure bike in this segment yet.

2018年2月24日 · With high quality sport tour rubber like the Conti RA3s the bike handled like a peach and the roomy layout made 2-up riding a real pleasure. High seat height is only real detriment though the adjustable seat helps a bit. To me the bike always seemed to handle better (quicker, lighter feel) when the seat was in the higher position.

2023年2月27日 · This relatively new technology keeps the bike at a taller ride height while it’s moving, lowering the suspension as the machine slows/stops, so the rider can easily reach the ground with both feet. Harley-Davidson pioneered this tech with the 1250 Pan America Special adventure bike, and the Ducati Multistrada V4S also includes this feature now.

2021年7月12日 · The K60 is declared to be a 50-50 tire, but in my opinion it should not be used off-road. Anything except dry tarmac is pretty off-limits for this tire but again, the average big adventure bike rider stays on perfectly sealed road most of the time. The front K60 tire is even worse than the rear, in terms of on road performance.

2024年11月12日 · But get this: They showed a new machine at EICMA that sure looks like a new adventure bike is coming. The weird booth display says the bike is a new KLE, and that “Life’s a Rally. Ride it.” For those who don’t remember, the KLE series was a line of street-biased adventure bikes that ran in Europe, but never came to North America.

2020年9月8日 · The new 690 is a whole different story. The fueling is spot-on, the bike never "flames out", the engine is smooth and makes crazy power, and the bike is simply wonderful. I had high expectations when I bought the 2019 690 and the bike has exceeded my expectations by a wide margin.
