The RainDrain channel should be laid into a concrete surround (minimum strength C12/15) with minimum thickness of 100mm x the full height of the channel less 50mm maximum thickness of asphalt/tarmac (Y2 dimension). The RainDrain channel should be installed 3-6mm lower than the surrounding surface finish.
