Ocasio-Cortez is the representative for New York’s 14 th congressional district and is a Democrat. She has served since Jan. 3, 2019. Ocasio-Cortez is next up for reelection in 2026 and serves until Jan. 3, 2027. She is 35 years old.

In early 2024, the New York State legislature approved a new set of congressional maps—so our district will look a little different. NY-14 will now include all or sections of: Castle Hill, Country Club, City Island, Clason Point, Edgewater, Hunts Point, Mott Haven, Parkchester, Pelham, Port Morris, Soundview, Throggs Neck, and Westchester Square.
