Only 1 aerosol can is just enough if you are careful. If you are going manifolds, valve covers, brackets and all, a couple of cans wouldn't hurt. 2021年1月25日 · Does anyone know the correct paint code/shade for a 1977 304. i have seen several shades of blue and turquoise labeled AMC engine blue. I would also like to know the best way to put it in without damaging the paint. the first time I put it in, I had to do a lot of twisting and using a pry bar to get it to go in, and it really damaged the paint.

2010年11月6日 · I like the AMC blue 69-73. I think it is the only factory metallic engine paint out there. If you want something eye-catching, take a look at Freecat's engine pictures. Bright yellow in a blue car really stands out.

2020年1月4日 · Ha, I just painted a block with some custom mixed "Caravelle Blue" and wondered why it wasn't quite the same color as the other block in the shop. I believe that might have been painted with Seymour. Amark link says it is for 69-73 model years. Was there more than one metallic blue used? Were 68 engines a different color?

2009年8月26日 · Also agree with other poster, paint on your block after cleaning looks "blue-er" and non-metallic. Always wondered if the '69 to '73 Blue Poly was a metallic color or not. Understanding is the '74 & up Engine Blue is not a metallic color.

2021年4月20日 · I realize this is a really old post, but trying to find paint that matches the peeling paint on my 1969 AMX 390 and this is it. Seems like every other engine is that metallic blue green, but mine is this non metallic Robins egg blue. What engines/years was this paint used on?? Where can I get it?
