2023年1月25日 · "A-fib with RVR" is actually clearly defined, it's A-fib with a ventricular rate greater than 100 bpm. We tend to specify the RVR as a reference to hemodynamic compromise, but that's not correct, there is A-fib with RVR and there is A-fib with RVR resulting in hemodynamic compromise.

2021年6月25日 · 87yo M complaining of chest tightness, SOB, diaphoresis since this AM. History of HTN and TIA. Initially found to be in an afib w/ RVR and a LBBB with no history of. Initial rate was ~165ish. 12-lead captured it at 107 but was as high as 170s after the EKG as well, sgbarbossa negative.
Diagnosed with AFIB with RVR and could use some encouragement.
RVR sucks. I'm not going to lie. I have AFIB RVR. Try not to compare how you feel to others with afib, especially those who don't have RVR. If your doc discusses ablation try to be open minded about it. I wish I'd gotten one sooner than I did. I learned about my AFIB and sleep apnea at the same basic time and felt a bit overwhelmed.
