Understanding Long-Haul Aircraft Efficiencies: A340-600 vs. B777 …
2024年7月31日 · The A350-1000 is the most-optimized aircraft here, and also the newest/lightest by a large margin - not only is it more efficient than the 77W, but will also out-perform the 777X variants. The obvious caveat being that the 777 is a larger aircraft with greater capacity - none of these are really easy to compare directly, but that's usually the ...
Differences Between A350-900 And A350-1000 - Airliners.net
2015年12月2日 · The A350-1000 comes with optimizations. The slide below shows the primary changes versus the -900 model. Most of these changes should find their way into the A350-900. I also want to point out that introducing optimizations is pretty common in aviation. To give two examples: the 787-9

2023年2月1日 · The domestic A359 is a nice plane but the long haul needs more than just the A350-1000 sized airplane. Maybe I'm speculating it will probably fill a gap between the B789 and A351 (No First Class), which probably will have more than 239 seats (Highest capacity in JL B789), will be between 250-275 seats in a three-class layout (Business, Premium ...
B777-300ER Vs. A350-1000: Boeing's View - Airliners.net
2007年11月30日 · I think Boeing is thinking it's a bit of snake oil. And considering nobody has signed on but EK and QR for the A350-1000, two airlines who placed huge hubris orders, despite 400 overall commitments for the A350XWB program, maybe Boeing isn't the only one who is a little leery of the A350-1000 reality v. marketing hype...
A350-1000 fuel burn - Airliners.net
2019年12月4日 · So the A350-1000 is pretty much 77W size but with a 777-200 fuel burn. The 77W burns roughly a tonne more than the 772 per hour so the A350-1000 is roughly a tonne per hour better than the 77W, so over an 8 hour flight, 8 tonnes is about $4,000-5,000 worth of fuel savings. Not bad, but not the huge leap that the 787-9 has over the 772.

2023年11月7日 · "The A350-1000 planes are set to replace Eva Air’s existing Boeing 777-300ERs. The airline currently has 34 of those planes in its fleet, including a dozen that are almost 20 years old. "Eva Air President Sun Chia-ming said in November 2022 that the carrier is keen to shift toward larger widebodies from single-aisle jets as it eyes the ...

2020年8月5日 · That low initial cruise altitude of the A350-1000 also makes me optimistic for the B777-9X. Obviously the lower the capacity, the more a plane can profit from engine updates. In that sense the B787 should have the best future. The thing you have to consider, the 35K at DOW(catering and stuff included) is 149-152t. The 779X is gonna be 170-175t.
A350-1000 versus B777-300ER - Airliners.net
2020年10月16日 · The A350-1000 isn't selling as its per-seat economics are not materially better than the A350-900's. Multiple analysts have claimed the -1000 yields a 2-3% operating cost advantage per seat. That is simply not enough of a advantage. For most airlines/networks, it's better to take the 10 A359's rather than 8 A35K's for the same $1.5B USD investment.

2020年6月9日 · To YYZ and DXB the A350-1000, at similar payloads, has a very similar trip fuel burn to the 777-200ER. So the A350-1000 is pretty much 77W size but with a 777-200 fuel burn. The 77W burns roughly a tonne more than the 772 per hour so the A350-1000 is roughly a tonne per hour better than the 77W, so over an 8 hour flight, 8 tonnes is about ...
