A3 is a subcompact and A4 is compact, A6 is midsized and A8 is full sized so each would give slightly more room. I can say the A6 is definitely much roomier for passengers and ideal for long road trips over an A3 or A4

People forget Military Spec is specific down to the color of the phosphate. you can not "exceed" military spec or even variate from it. It is or it isnt.

But, only Dan can confirm :p I downsized to the NR200 from ATX when the Cougar QBX was the only other affordable small case. If the A4 H2O or Meshy was present then, I would've jumped to buy those cases.
