This guide describes the process of manually tramming/leveling the bed for A1 The heatbed of the Bambu Lab A1 is calibrated before leaving the factory. Once you have followed the instructions in the Quick Start guide, you can start printing directly.

¶ Bed leveling in calibration. The Auto Bed Leveling option in the Calibration page allows the printer to level the heatbed even more thoroughly. For the number of locations to be leveled, it is 18*18 for A1 mini, and 21*21 for A1. Perform a complete heatbed leveling in the calibration page is more helpful in getting a better first layer quality.

Remove the build plate and clean the surface of the heatbed, then tighten the heatbed leveling screw until the bottom end of the screws sit flush with the bottom bracket. To begin the bed leveling process, first, download the attached g-code file, transfer it to a MicroSD Card, and then power on the printer.

2023年9月28日 · During bed tramming, it turns ABL off and places the nozzle 0.4 mm over the bed in the three points that you can align. Regardless of what [same] height you set them to, the bed will be trammed perfectly fine after.

2023年12月28日 · I had the A1 mini for 3 weeks and it ran flawlessly. Since the latest firmware update, I had my first failed print that was not my fault. Immediately after the update I ran a print and it did not level the entire bed, just the corners and an area somewhat off centre. The centre and left side of the bed had major issues with the first layer.

2024年8月21日 · One or two extra turns before starting the bed tramming can help solve this problem. Spring tension is what keeps vibration from loosening the knobs and changing the bed level. It is important that there is always some tension and that is why the wiki shows the correct starting position - knobs equally flush with the end of the screws.

Through the auto bed leveling function, the A1 mini can automatically detect and adjust the height of the print bed before printing and during the printing process.
