2021年6月21日 · The Ruger PC Carbine 9mm comes with accommodation for two different types of magazines; the Ruger standard (SR-Series ) comes pre-installed, plus it ships with an adaptor for Glock magazines. I don't have any other 9mm firearms so cross-compatibility isn't my issue. I will want to purchase multiple magazines though.

2024年3月6日 · Total Internet myth! I currently have a 4 5/8" and a 6 1/2" 9mm/357 Mag convertibles. When my Blackhawks were tested side-by-side with my CZ-75 (known for good 9mm accuracy), my Blackhawks are slightly more accurate than the 9mm pistol. This is a much fairer test than comparing a 9mm to a 38 Special.

Plus it will shoot factory 9mm without changing a thing. Still odd though, the 9mm mags will work fine with either 9mm or 38 Super loads but the Super mags won't work with 9mm ...

2014年9月9日 · 1911 9mm and .38 super multi gun If you reload your own ammo, having a 1911 multi gun that allows shooting both 9mm and .38 super by changing out parts is a good option. The cost of shooting .38 super factory ammo is much higher than 9mm, so the ability to reload is very cost effective.

2024年2月17日 · I will say for the cost factor, good 9mm self defense rounds will be cheaper than good 327 Mag rounds are going to be. Flip side the 327 LCR holds 6 rounds whereas the 9mm LCR holds only 5 rounds. Flip it again though and the 9mm uses moon clips theoretically providing quicker reloads depending how much you practice.

2019年11月11日 · Based on my experience I think Wilson Combat mags are the best. I have run over 30,000 rounds of 9mm through my over a dozen 9mm 1911 pistols in the last 2 years and have not had a single failure with any of them. I only use Wilson mags. Wilson recently released a flush-fitting 9 round 9mm mag.

2024年9月16日 · 9mm may work out of a 38 Super magazine. So, you might need to get a 9mm magazine. All of my 9mm/38 Super “guns” are convertibles built on 45acp guns. The “9mms” run fine in mine using 38 Super magazines. I have no idea if they would run better using dedicated 9mm magazines, or not. I haven’t purchased any yet.

2012年3月4日 · Some 1911 9mm guns work fine with standard 10 round .38 super mags loaded with 9mm rounds. I have several 1911 9mm guns, and the 10 round 9mm Wilson ETM mags work fine and are extremely reliable. .38 super mags just aren't quite as reliable in my guns. It is fairly easy to make a 1911 mag starting out with a .38 super mag.

2018年1月17日 · As soon as I find that there is a mag adapter for the S&W magazines that can be installed on the Ruger 9 Carbine, I will buy the carbine post haste. I do not have an immediate need for a 9mm carbine but would like to have the Ruger for recreational target shooting and possible home protection.

2018年1月30日 · A modified SR9 mag will work in the Security 9 but will stick out about 1/2 inch. You could also modify a RAP mag to work. Last time I modified a mag like this was early Beretta 92 mags (lower rear grip release) to fit a 92SB with the release just below the trigger like 1911’s etc. it works but it doesn’t look perfect.
