2009年12月31日 · Any YZ250 from 99+ is really good. The engine was new in 1999 and is basically the same through 2013. In 2002 they added the 5mm spacer between the reed block and cylinder. They changed the ratio of 2nd gear (to a faster gear) as well as bumped the compression ratio up and raised the exhaust port in the 2003-2010 models.

Today it stands as the last 250cc two-stroke from Japan. That makes it the longest-running production dirt bike in the world–maybe even the longest running motorcycle model of any kind outside of Milwaukee and Russia. Perhaps more than anything, the YZ250 is known for the legendary riders who used it to win.

Suspension travel was 300/315mm front/rear with compression and rebound damping adjustment at each end plus spring preload on the Monocross shock. Claimed dry weight was 98.5kg with a wheelbase of 1482mm, seat height of 989mm and ground clearance of 391mm.

The Yamaha YZ250 is a two-stroke motocross race bike made by Yamaha. The model was launched in 1974, and has been regularly updated and is still in production with new releases every year. The original YZ250 of 1974 used an air-cooled 250cc two-stroke engine of 70 mm bore and a 64 mm stroke, which was improved semi-annually.

2008年5月27日 · I'm going to look at a 1999 YZ250 tomorrow. I won't be buying but I'll be checking it out, he said 1300, and it has some goodies on it. I love YZ's and I've spent plenty of time of my buddies 01. I just wanted to make sure the 99 was a solid year. I'll take some pictures and you let you blue boys review them tomorrow. 1999 Yamaha YZ250, This YZ250 is a liquid-cooled 2-stroke motocrosser with a 5-speed transmission. It has front and rear disc brakes, front fork travel is 11.8" and 12.4" of travel in the rear. It has a FMF pipe on it.

2009年9月14日 · Turn the idle screw clockwise to check that the slide moves upwards. Have you had the bike running ie. taken it for a good spin - not just let it idle. The bottom end might need cleaning out - give it some revs and let engine temperature build. Berg. for now you can turn the throttle adjustment to bring the idle up.
