2010年10月25日 · The G model was a one year only engine design model in 86. The H was a early model 87. The G has a resonance chamber power valve while the H has guillotine design. Frames are different. This is a 1986 Suzuki RM250 "G" model. Completely rebuilt and ready to race. New sleeve, iston, ings and rod bearings. The crank was taken to the top machine shop in the area and the water pump shaft was redone to fix the design flaw found on the 86 model. The plastic is original and in great shape for the age.

Well done… my first brand new bike was an 87 RM250… I was a huge Suzuki fan, guess I didn’t read MXA back then 😂… The 87 was an improvement over the lowly 86 but still, was not a great bike. Now the 88 RM250 was a much improved bike…. Ughhh, I had one of those.

Very similar in concept to Honda Automatic Torque Amplification Chamber (ATAC), the new Suzuki Automatic Exhaust Control (AEC) varied the geometry of the exhaust system through the use of a sub-chamber built into the exhaust port.

1982: The liquid-cooled RM250 of 1982 reigns supreme as the best 250 of the year. It’s faster, lighter and has better suspension than anything in the class. Honda, Yamaha and Kawasaki have off-years, but recover quickly. In 1983, the RM250 loses power and the other Japanese companies catch up.
