2017年10月19日 · The 6.5 PRC to my understanding was a Hornady/Ruger project that George of GAP helped work on. it too is aimed at the PRS market and is built with similar design principles of the 4s but uses the RCM (ruger compact magnum) as it's parent case rather than the SAUM.

2021年10月14日 · Well, for me, any internal box mag will not be a usable option for a 6.5 Saum build. I need to run a detachable mag - and preferably on a long action to run 156 Bergers around 3.1" coal. Already have 4 boxes of new ADG 6.5 Saum brass..-Really like the Terminus actions with 60 degree bolt lift, so looking at Kratos Lite.

2018年9月4日 · I have a 6.5 SAUM with a 28" 8.5 twist 5R Bartlein. Its built on a R700 LA so i had it set up for the 147 ELDM's specifically, at the lands is 2.435" BTO. Its crazy accurate with the 147's at 3150fps and easy on the Hornady brass. Even with the long jump it shoots Berger 140 EH's just as good as the 147's.

2021年5月11日 · They will outperform a SAUM with 156s built on a SA loading to a max of 2.950”. You need a minimum of 50 -100 thou clearance in mag. They “will not” compete with a saum with shorter bullets. When the barrel wears out on my 6.5 PRC built on a Stiller Predator action I may go with SAUM & custom throat it for the 156s.

2015年3月16日 · The Saum is the perfect case capacity for the 6.5 on the top end, I hope to see Hornady brass but as of last week the Hornady engineer was not in the loop on SAUM brass, I hope it's coming though and is of good quality, I squirrel away Norma 7 Saum brass like it's gold
