The load I've settled on is the 200gr Nosler Accubond over 62.5gr of RL-17 with CCI 250 Magnum primers, seated to a COAL of 2.850". This load gets me an average of 2753 fps, with SD of 9 and ES of 23 fps. I get consistent .75" to .900" groups.

However, after buying a .338RCM about 2 yrs ago, I sold the .338F about 6-8 months ago because I liked the RCM so much with its 20" barrel. I still own another Hawkeye in .358 Win, so I just tried something to maybe help you decide.

2016年4月17日 · Your .338 WM with heavy bullets already has over penetration ability on even big animals like eland (2,000lb+). and so does the .375 H&H. Regarding the Ruger .375: It is a good round but achieves its ability because of high pressure compared to the H&H and only at the highest pressure rating does it manage to have about 50 ft/sec more than the H&H.
