2021年1月20日 · Personally would go with QHD as getting 300 frames rates visually on the screen is not going to matter too much unless you want to play competitively. 15.6 is better for portability imo. But the QHD will likely be more noticeable on the bigger 17 inch screen. And the bigger screen is nice if it's more a desktop replacement use case etc.

2021年1月18日 · But, it recently occurred to me, if my monitor can only produce 144hz, I’m technically not even getting the benefits of 300+ FPS with CSGO right? Technically, the monitor is capping out at 144 FPS. So, that additional 150+ FPS is just wasted power right? Any benefits you can think of?

2020年6月16日 · Just canvassing peoples' opinions about whether to get 4K 60 Hz or 1080p 300 Hz on the Alienware m17 R3. I've ordered it with the 4K but shipping time is over a month vs a few days for the 1080p. My use case is basically that I'll be doing limited-to-no gaming on the actual panel itself (will be using external monitor at home).

2023年6月4日 · The XG27AQMR (300 hz) might not compete with ULMB 2 but it's $400 cheaper and the backlight strobe does seem to work well enough the VRR (Gsync/freesync) between 144 hz - 300 hz. 2021年6月25日 · Go to settings and make sure the 2nd Display is at 48Hz (Not 60Hz), and then you would be able to change the Main display to 300 Hz, that also happened to me when I accidentally messed up the settings.

2022年4月18日 · This is more likely a case of the 300 Hz monitor supporting variable refresh rate and the 165 Hz one not supporting it, because the maximum refresh rate shouldn't matter at all in the scenario you're describing, and VRR would explain the difference. So in the end I'd just use whichever had the features I cared about.

2023年7月24日 · The hum is loudest at 180 Hz. It’s second loudest at 300 Hz. And there’s also a very faint 60 Hz hum (but that’s only detectable when looking at a the spectrogram). 2020年10月27日 · The 144 Hz is advertised with a 72 % NTSC colour gamut (TV standard) while the 300 Hz is sold as a 100% sRGB colour gamut (computer imaging editing standard). The thing is 72% NTSC is equal to 100% sRGB. 100% NTSC are Wide Gamut monitors. They are used by photography professional and can be quite expensive. Both have 300 nits of brightness.
