AW11 "MK1.6" 2GRFE Swap $16,450. This swap package contains all of the pieces as the SW20 swap but with some slight additions. Mounting the engine in the AW11 chassis requires all 4 engine mounts be replaced with custom engine mounts as well as some hammering of the engine bay for clearance.

2022年6月6日 · Hi, I’m looking to buy a AW11 MR2 and swap in a 2GR-FE. Or, buy a finished, swapped build if I can find one. Some questions: -Has this build been successfully done on AW11s? I see lots of SW20s But no first gens. -Would it be possible to configure the exhaust to sound like this in an AW11? -I’m in the TX area.

2023年3月3日 · The 2GR is perfect for the SW. Inside the AW11 there's no real room to work on it but still a blast to drive. Most who have done this swap have upgraded the rest of the car to accommodate the changes in the cars behavior. The one I worked on had simple suspension upgrades, larger tires, and did fine around turns.

2017年9月13日 · 2GR is a good motor (albeit a fairly complex swap, TwoBrutal have some 2gr threads kicking about), but for the similar money you can tune a 3sgte to a higher peak output and get more midrange torque than the 2GR develops.

The AW11 kit comes with the same 2GR harness but universal body integration plugs that will need installation on the end-user side. This also assumes a drunk and/or trunk battery relocation with breaker/fuss installed.
