2021年4月5日 · There's also a "phase" system to gain extra privileges while you're in AIT. 4's have next to no privileges, extra formations, 5's have less formations and more free time, 5+ can go off base. They'll probably be fairly indoctrinated by the army at this point and probably will be for at least a few months after AIT.

Back up your book studies with buying a used computer from a pawn shop and looking at the components, pulling it apart and putting it back together again.

2020年6月20日 · I am a 25B in the guard. AIT for 25B is pretty long and has a pretty high fail rate. Don’t let that discourage you but if you do decide to go 25B, take AIT serious. AIT consisted of 5 or 6 courses I think. The hardest classes are on Cisco Networking which involves programming routers and switches along with learning the basics of networking.

Especially relevant for Reservists. 25B Soldiers are coming out of AIT with Army versions of Security+ but privileged accounts on pretty much every network require CompTIA Security+ and pretty much every Network account SOP won't accept anything in lieu of it.

2021年1月2日 · 25B will get you a cert 25B AIT does not get you any certs just for going through. There is technically the opportunity to get them, but it requires a lot of extra work and you pretty much don't have the time for it.

2020年9月30日 · From what recent 25B ait grads told me they give you training for certain certs in ait but you have to take the exam once you get to your unit, but they will make you get at least sec+, idk about specifics tho. They weren’t allowing people to go to off post locations to take the exams because covid I think.
