When I set up an alarm for 9:00 AM, I wake up at 12:30 PM with the alarm still playing. So the alarm plays for 3 hours without waking me up.

2023年3月22日 · A full day is around 9-10 hours but I can do that several days in a row easily. 11-12 hours is pushing it - I need a real good night sleep afterwards. I'll do a 11-12 hour day driving on my last day of driving because I know I can have more rest time the next day. 13-14 hours is exhausting but I've done it several times.

I'm sure he did some of those things above, but the only thing he really mentioned was deep work, which yes plays its role but isn't necessarily the best way to learn.

2021年10月22日 · Personally I find 12:12 much harder to stick to than 16:8 and 18:6. It's related to the number of meals. At 3 meals it's harder to spread the caloric target, it makes 3 small unfulfilling meals, can't sustain that for long. At 2 meals it's hard to spend 12 hours between these two without going for an extra snack.

Do whatever else you have to, leave for work depending on how far away you are. Do the work, come home have a shower and dinner and do whatever else for the rest of the day.
