2014年7月4日 · Are any of you using 10w50 motor oil in your 800's or bigger ? I ask because since switching to Mobil 1 0w40, I've noticed my engine burning more oil than it used to (approx. 6-8oz over 50-60 miles, as compared to Polaris oil). Some of the guys on the RZR forums have mentioned they have switched to 10w40, 10w50, and even 15w40, 15w50.

2020年10月17日 · Recently bought a hardly used 2018 sportsman 450.Changed the oil with the polaris extreme duty oil which was 10w-50 I was told was ok.Fast forward a month and now I'm having foam at the the top of the dipstick,oil level fine.Also no signs of blown head gasket.Is this the oil causing this.?Did I just F up my qaud?

2013年11月12日 · Modern synthetic oils stick to engine fairly well so you do have some protection, however, getting oil through all the small passages and so forth ASAP is your best defense. The thicker the oil viscosity the longer it takes to make the trip through the engine. Read "Bob's the Oil Guy" online and you will gain a wealth of knowledge.

2015年4月1日 · I used Polaris oil & filter on my first oil change (had a coupon ) Pretty close for my next oil change and picked up Rotella T6 5W-40 with a Wix 51358. I ran Rotella 15W-40 in my Honda 400EX for 4-5yrs with 0 problems.
