2014年1月7日 · My SBR is a Seekins 10.5". It will cycle 62 GR M855 very well. It will cycle anything with a suppressor. I had an issue when it came to some old .223 I found. FTF every shot. I know that it is a lighter charge but I would like my SBR to cycle anything. I have a crappy spring and buffer at present.

2024年3月10日 · FWIW, I don't run suppressed, so the difference of a bare barrel going from 10.5" to 11.5" is more substantial than changing a 16" equivalent system with a big goofy bulb-thing at the end, to a 17" equivalent system with a big goofy bulb thing on the end. 10.5" bare is HANDY. And 11.5" is just enough less so, to notice.

2016年5月17日 · Slightly different, but I've shot my 11.5" SBR with a 1-6.5x scope out to 500 yards. I was hitting a 2/3 size IPSC gong (about 12"x20") probably every 3 or 4 shots, shooting prone unsupported with 55gr reloads.

2013年7月13日 · As is clearly stated in my original post, the 14.5" barrel is by Battle Arms Development. The 10.5" and 11.5" were both stainless Noveske barrels. All three were tested with the same PST 2.5-10X32. All three were wearing Geiselle SD-E triggers. All three had SLR adjustable gas-blocks. the 10.5 and 11.5 were full Noveske builds.

2018年7月2日 · I run 10.5" and 11.5" sbr's using H3 buffers. Using an adjustable gas block may require tweaking when switching ammo. By just using an H3 buffer, I run 55 grain .223, M193 and M855 5.56, and Black Hills MK262 with no issues over 4 years of usage.

2018年11月8日 · Completely agree with the posts. OP, just need to zero in on what this tool is for. The gerber tool SBR, 10.5-12", along with a can will get you into a rifle with an OAL about equal to a standard 16" rifle. If size, transport and or concealment are more important than suppression you can go well below 10.5. Again, you can always get another upper!

2009年7月30日 · An adjustable gas block on a10.5” SBR is a waste of time money and energy. The reality is this, nothing you do will alleviate the gas in your face in a 10.5”. It kinda just is what it is. A piston 10.5” might be the alternative to a DI.

2016年1月6日 · Quick question. Does anyone know the overall length of a SBR with a MFT or Magpul stock extended and a 10.5" barrel. I apologize for asking but I waited until I got my year end bonus to do my SBR's and by a suppressor. Now jug ears dropped his deal and I was hoping to get the Form 1's out of the way before the new "actions" take effect. Thanks.
