Power draw is not a limiting factor here. Also, should I go for a larger EDF than 80mm? (wingspan is about 70 - 80 cm, total mass of about 700-1000g) .

2021年10月19日 · Airplane props can and often do have a higher pitch:diameter ratio because they fly at some forward speed. Would you be using the same motors as the EDF units use? Or at least something with a high Kv value that would require small props?

2022年5月9日 · Props are way more efficient from my experience. I can get about 5 minutes of flight on my Arrows Viper 50mm flying at full speed, but I can get 7-8 minutes of flight on my Eflite Valiant, which weighs twice as much, and goes slightly faster.
