Meanwhile many years earlier, Fortin used to do "Jose" type mods called "Cali-mods" and I bought a 100 watt Marshall JCm800 super-bass from a guy on the original Rig-Talk with the Cali (Jose) mods. Still have that amp too , and they're nothing alike.

2010年5月17日 · the production models are more consistent in thickness and tend to be in the .790" range at the 1st. the shape is tough to describe since it sort of blurs the line between C and D. it's not as round as a typical C but not as flat as a typical D. that's one of the reasons i really like them, perfect thickness for me and the shape is very comfortable.

At one point, I ran my preamps into a Hot Rod DeVille 4x10" (bypassing the Hot Rod's preamp section). The tubes in the Fender really warmed things up . It was a killer rig that turned a lot of heads and didn't cost a lot of money.
