The City of Vancouver encompasses approximately 1,600 acres of park land, including over 90 parks and 20 natural areas. Parks range in size from the tiny 0.4-acre MyPark Neighborhood Park to all 88 acres of David Douglas Community Park, home to many sports leagues.

David Douglas Community Park serves the central Vancouver area, as well as the Northwood Neighborhood. The park serves as a central gathering area for sporting events and community activities and features several ball fields that are home to Columbia Little League and the Vancouver-Clark Parks and Recreation Softball program.

This 58.3-acre site offers walking trails, play equipment, ball fields, picnic shelters, restrooms, and the City's only public boat launch site. Marine Park is part of the Waterfront River Renaissance Trail, which connects the site to Waterfront Park.

Use the Vancouver Waterfront Park as your launching point to experience the sights, sounds, scenic wonders and limitless recreational opportunities. Following the curves of the Columbia River, the new park stretches across 7.3 acres of green space and includes walking trails, picnic spots, and sculptural components.
