However, they intend to charge an administration fee of 12.5% (+ VAT) for the privilege of re-uniting me with my money.

2008年2月25日 · You need to find and send your O2 (not mmO2) share certificate to Equiniti who will in turn send you a nice cheque. If you can't find your share certificate you'll need to contact them and tell them. They might charge you.

2024年5月11日 · The valid one will be the (A) BT Group 5p Ord certificate. Its named changed on the mmO2 demerger. 21/11/2001* would fit with BT Group's listing date of 19/11/2001. You can sense check this by checking the value of the dividends you've been receiving per share vs the number of shares on (A) and comparing it to what's been declared.

2019年3月11日 · There was a capital reorganisation of mmO2 in 2005. You had to elect to receive new shares. If you didn't act, or were too late, then your shares were automatically sold and you got a cheque in the post. That amount was 125p + 5p for each of the original mmO2 shares held. Perhaps your dad either decided to sell (or was too late) and took the money?

2020年12月27日 · The 1984 BT shares should have been replaced by shares in mmO2 and BT Group plc following a demerger in 2001 so if you come across what's happened to 420 of each of those shares in later records then the 80s certificate is redundant.
