3D extension There is an extension for Qgis as well (Qgis globe) but it is not on par with gvSIG. Cad tools are more powerful than Qgis tools: thanks to the OpenCad tool extension. For instance, you can create circles, elipses and so on. On Mobile devices gvSIG is better. There are two projects for this: gvSIG mobile and gvSIG mini.

What I know is that gvSIG forked a while ago and formed gvSIG CE. I dont really know why but it seems that there was some kind of different interests in the use of the oracle spatial driver and how the GUI was designed.

2013年2月7日 · gvSIG doesn't have a driver for SQL Server at this moment, at least there isn't at project level. Yes you can connect through ODBC for alphanumerical data, but there is no driver for the geometry or geography data types.

2024年8月29日 · That is not possible in a easy way: gvSIG is a desktop software, so it has no webs service to share your project or views. On the other hand, I can advise you some solutions depending on what you really need: Static information: Export your views as image or PDF.
