It was a monstrously large feline-like beast with a striped body, scraggly mane, four fangs that curled out of its mouth, long sharp claws, and a disproportionately long, ruffled multicoloured tail. Zouwus were incredibly powerful and fast, capable of travelling 1,000 miles in a day. [1]

2019年2月15日 · The Chinese Zouwu is described by JKR as “a giant cat-like creature with a long plumed tail”, “a monstrous cat the size of an elephant, five colored with a tail the size of a python.” In an interview JKR also says the Zouwu is “five-coloured”. It is not mentioned in Newt’s bestseller “Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them” (FB)

After breaking out from Yusuf Kama 's hideout, Newt Scamander eventually found the Zouwu in Paris. Newt was able to lure her into his magical suitcase using a cat bird toy. In Newt's suitcase, he used the Revulsion Jinx to free her from her chains. [1]
