Is the zou arc worth the watch? : r/OnePiece - Reddit
Dec 29, 2021 · I highly recommend watching Zou. It's a fairly short arc, and, as others have pointed out, it's full of lore and sets up Wano and Whole Cake Island. On top of that, it has its own story that gets resolved beautifully. Plus, the island itself and Mink culture are really interesting. Next to Whole Cake Island, it's my favorite arc post-time skip.
Can I skip zou? : r/OnePiece - Reddit
Zou is short, has a lot going on and is absolutely important to the story. I can’t understand how someone would suffer through the drawn-out Dressrosa fights between Kelly Funk, Jeet, Gilly, Lao G and Dellinger but then considers skipping Zou. That’s like skipping Loguetown, Jaya or …

Sep 10, 2023 · Law’s crew was already on Zou, so he knew they could hide out there. Speaking of Law, he’s with them because they met up on Punk Hazard, where the kidnapped Caesar Clown to use him as a bargaining chip against Doflamingo and Kaido. How Good was Zou as an Arc : r/OnePiece - Reddit
Apr 23, 2018 · If Wano flops, Zou will have oversold us and failed its mission. If Wano is a success and meets everything we wanted, Zou is only partially responsible, and its worth is determined by what came after it. This isn't to say that Wano is bad --it isn't-- I just wonder why people like Zou so much. Zou by itself doesn't seem like a compelling narrative.

My Honest Assessment of Zou : r/Piratefolk - Reddit
Jul 4, 2022 · The Zou arc is one of the short arcs in the series where Oda takes his time to set up future arcs and acts as more of a resting place for both the Straw Hats and the readers. Despite the minor significant that these arcs carry, however, this arc still has some very emotional punches and sets up things far grander than just one future arc.
One Piece Update: Zou was one of the most important arcs ever.
Aug 24, 2021 · I recently finished Zou and I really wanted to make a post on how much information about the OP world we get. I know basically this entire sub has been caught up but goddamn they really just told us that: Momo is the heir to Wano Kaido has taken Wano under control and killed Oden, former King of Wano RAFTEL!!!!
Is amazing what the second half of Zou did for the arc as a whole
Jul 31, 2021 · For the first half of zou I thought it was a good arc, but I wasn’t crazy about it. After the second half of Zou, it became the 5th best one piece arc in my book (1: Dressrosa, 2: Marineford, 3:Ennies lobby, 4: Sabaody, 5: Zou) I haven’t watched WCI nor wano yet. But once the minks were revealed to be actually protecting raizo, my jaw dropped.

It's not just you. Zou, imho, hadn't one a single bad chapter. The inhabitants were cool, strong and deeply loyal and while the main villain of the arc wasn't beaten by the crew exactly it was still such an enjoyable read. TONS of plot progression was also a super great addition. Zou, while short, was damn near perfect.
