2022年12月19日 · Awesome hand-drawn Zork II map. I downloaded this a long time ago and had it printed at 36" x 24" on a nice aged canvas with an old antique brass frame. It looked stunning on my wall.

By "original Zork," the title is referring to the adventure game that was composed of what would later be called "Zork I", "Zork II", and "Zork III". It had to be split into 3 parts to work on PC architecture at the time. (And many puzzles were added to flesh things out at that time, too.)

2023年8月16日 · The maze is annoyingly complex. If you don’t want to find a map online, the best thing is to drop things in different rooms and keep careful track of how the exits connect. But the thief will also roam around and occasionally take or move things you drop, even worthless things.

The book that had some fictional version of zork in it, and as the protagonist played through it, the game started to affect the real world in strange ways. IIRC, the protagonist was either some sort of lawyer or an accountant that finds a copy of the fictional zork among the estate possessions of a dead man but like I said, its been a long time.

2024年3月30日 · back in the 1980s when zork and other text adventure programs were popular, i used a notebook, graph paper, pencil and tape to make my own maps. and i would bring them to the college computer room and play in a secluded spot off hours on the weekend from busy times from when others needed the computers for class work.
