YTV (stylized as yTV) is a Canadian English language discretionary specialty channel owned by YTV Canada, Inc. a subsidiary of Corus Entertainment. [1] The channel and its programming is targeted at children and young teenagers.

YTV is a Canadian English language children's television network by Corus Entertainment. Children's TV channels Treehouse TV, Teletoon and animation studio Nelvana are also owned by Corus Entertainment.

Launched on September 1, 1988 (sharing with Family Channel, VisionTV, and The Weather Network), YTV was the successor to two prior special programming services operated by various Ontario cable companies beginning in the late 1970s. However they didn't use a logo until 1989.
