The Yakovlev Yak-55 is a single-seat aerobatic aircraft. Pilots flying the Yak-55 have won several world aerobatic championships. [1] The 1976 World Aerobatic Championship was dominated by Soviet pilots, who finished first and second in the individual competition and also won the team and women's competitions in their Yakovlev Yak-50s. In 1980 the OKB quickly designed a totally new single-seat aerobatic aircraft, having almost nothing in common with the preceding Yak-50 except the 355hp M-14P engine and V-530TA-D35 propeller. An all-metal stressed-skin aircraft, it had an airframe designed with nothing in mind except winning competitions.

2014年10月24日 · Both planes fly great, but I like the 55M more for IMAC. It tracks very well and flies at a near constant speed with the DA-150. It is a large plane with a 126 inch wingspan and is made by Aeroplus RC. In addition to its great precision flight, it also is very stable for 3D/freestyle and the airframe is very strong with carbon fiber reinforcements.

A few years ago the Yak 55M hit the stage big style in Rc. Being a massively precise model, with some of the most axial rolls we have ever seen. Pilot-RC always striving to go above and beyond in every aspect of our designs, have produced our own version of the Yak 55M Modified.
