PPG's XYLAN ® 1000 series are solvent-borne, resin bonded high temperature resistant dry films, formulated to deliver a wide range of performance characteristics when used in multiple industrial applications. Usable as stand-alone or as part of an overall coating system, offering controlled low friction, very good corrosion and chemical resistance.

Xylan® coatings reduce friction, improve wear resistance, protect metal from corrosion, and for non-stick applications which make them ideal for a variety of applications.

Xylan coating, sometimes known as PTFE coating, Teflon coating, or high performance coating, are common names for a family of fluoropolymer-based coatings – specifically designed to improve the functionality, performance and lifespan of screws, fasteners and fixings.

Xylan® 1424 series coating is a high performance, waterbourne, VOC compliant material that is resin-bonded, thermally cured, single film dry lubricant. It is excellent at protecting against chemicals, corrosive agents, extreme weather, and abrasives.

PPG's XYLAN® 16-000 Series are solvent- and waterborne, resin-bonded, anti-friction and abrasion-resistant dry films, formulated to deliver a wide range of performance characteristics in various automotive applications.

Superior to "moly" greases which wash away and PTFE coatings which "cold flow", resin-bonded lubricants in Xylan 1052 stay on the job, even in harsh chemical environments. Fastener-class coating provides lubrication with extra corrosion protection.
