2024年10月6日 · Basically, I turned compositing off by disabling it: XFCE Settings > Window Manager Tweaks > Compositor > Uncheck "Enable display compositing" Finally I was able to login to my Xfce session without having to delete the ~/.config/xfce4 directory! I have now been up and running normally for over 1 week.

2008年10月25日 · Used xfce with labwc a bit: feels half-baked. 1. with xfce-panel: whisker menu opens up on click, but does not close when you click somewhere else, just stays open. 2. when moving terminal (foot) window to postion 0,0 (top left corner) it hides title bar, as if it doesn't include title bar height into position calculation.

With Linux Mint Cinnamon I set the fractional scaling to 1.5x and everything is perfect: As you see the text is crisp and perfectly rendered. 2015年2月27日 · That's odd. I don't need to add gksu or anything to run network manager applet be it under XFCE or fluxbox and openbox. And I'm using Ubuntu 14.04. I just use "nm-applet" command for it not pointing to the specific .desktop file on the sessions/startup settings and files and enabled gnome services under XFCE.
