Officially I believe you get one Ethernet port at gig speed, but I have read of people using the faster port with the orange or red stripe. Oct 23, 2024 · Even with that, my coverage area doubled vs the XB8 and I was achieving 700-800 mbps consistently. I also attempted to downgrade my service to the 1000 plan considering that was the speed the XB7 maxes out on but surprisingly the speed output was much lower (300-500) vs being on the 2000 plan.
