I have a DR200 that my youngest son will soon be stealing from me and have been looking for a replacement adn cant decide between the XT250/CFR230L or going bigger and getting the DR200. What is the top speed of the XT? I am 230 LBS and just want to keep up with highway traffic when between dirt roads.

2018年9月23日 · The Serow/XT250 is a trail bike. Named by Yamaha Serow for a reason, from the Himalayas to Mount Fuji this is a mountain goat. The XT250 has great ground clearance, trials bike turning radius, low seat height and all the torque the engine makes right off idle. Not a MX bike, Not a race bike, Not a desert blasting bike, the XT is a trail bike.

2021年7月27日 · DR650 is a good choice but it is not in the same category as the XT250. DR650 is capable (I have one) but certainly not as Agile and Nimble as a mountain goat like the XT250. 2012年2月18日 · XT250's are great little exploration bikes, great motor for trail work and works fine with the very soft suspension. But in my opinion your exploring not racing and the XT fills that bill well and will move your 200 lbs fine, not fast, fine.

Those who have ridden there understand what I mean, others just don't get how inspiring riding there truly is. A place where a trials tire rules. Why is the XT250 a perfect motorcycle for the Slickrock Trails in Moab? 1) The trials bike 51 degree turning.

2017年9月11日 · I have a 2016 XT250. After a recent trip I'm wanting change the standard 9.8 litre fuel tank to a long range tank. Currently I'm running 2 x 7.5 roto packs on the back to get big kilometre ranges. The roto packs were good but the tail end swayed alot and I would like to eleviate this before my next trip.

One note the 08 XT250 Tank holds 2.6 and the XT225 only holds 2.3 gals. So far I am happy with 08 XT250 and will post further evaluations when I get more time to ride. One more thing, I had a hard time finding Accessories for the 08 XT250 but just found the Bash plate and Cargo Racks from www.turbocity.com

2020年11月28日 · I have had both, a new XT250 last year, and a new KLX230 this year. The KLX would be my pick by far. Ok, here goes. The XT: Holds .6 gallon more gas, It has a lower seat height. It has a higher ground clearance (a bit). Its more of a pain to work on, The instruments just suck, black on black button labels, not much info.

2018年9月23日 · The XT250 suspension is very soft out of the crate, and RaceTech hadn’t done a lot of XT250s for Round-the-World travel by a 6-foot-plus, 200 pound guy with a lot of off-road experience (let’s face it, that’s not the intended market for this bike).
